Overview

GDC at RIS is a development organization established with the goal of fostering mutually beneficial development partnerships among developing countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Pacific Island Countries. GDC facilitates exchange of experiences and best practices on successful development interventions with the objective of stimulating exchange of technologies and peer learning among countries of the global South.

GDC aims to catalyze the attainment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) especially Sustainable Agriculture (SDG-2), Health (SDG-3), Capacity building, Skill Development, Youth and Education (SDG-4) Gender Equality (SDG-5) and other cross-cutting issues like climate change, quality infrastructure, Science, technology and Innovation (STI), among others. Working in collaboration with regional and national governments and Non-Government organizations, think-tanks, Civil Society Organizations etc, GDC initiatives are driven by the priorities of beneficiary countries.
